Linwood recycling + waste transfer centre
A unique facility in Scotland, Linwood provides waste collection, segregation, recycling and manufacturing on one integrated site. A model of modern waste management from a truly diverse and dynamic business, Linwood is operated by experienced and innovative people, with a wide knowledge of the waste management business.
William Tracey Ltd, believe that a significant competitive advantage can be achieved for its customers through waste segregation at source. Landfill tax will continue to increase as capacity reduces and regulation influences waste disposal options and classification of waste. Segregation of waste material at source will reduce costs and in most cases, return a commercial dividend where economically viable, to our customers. In addition to sound commercial practice, segregation supports our customer’s corporate responsibility, to reduce their impact on the environment.
The Linwood waste transfer station provides a sorting and segregation process on behalf of customers presenting mixed waste loads. Timber, ferrous and non ferrous metals, paper, card, glass, plastic and construction waste, including plaster board are catered for on site, demonstrating the company’s commitment to customer service, quality and innovation. All collections are made by the William Tracey Ltd, fleet of REL, skip, rolonof, curtainsider vehicles and tippers. Recyclate can be baled on site using our range of mobile compaction units.
