William Tracey Ltd’s unique, combined sludge tanker and de-watering systems are changing the way businesses manage their site sedimentation requirements. With a technically advanced, polymer system, our units will reduce site time dramatically, leaving interceptors, storage/processing vessels, and wastewater treatment processors fully charged for optimum working by only removing the sludge. This method of operation reduces downtime, is competitively priced and adheres to best environmental practice standards.
Our new polymer based technology provides a significant advantage over traditional collection methods. The combination of chemical technology to agitate and split the solids and aqueous layers and mechanical innovation to remove the phases, reduces down time on customer sites. The units retain or transfer to containers, the dry solid for subsequent disposal at our licensed waste treatment facility, with the treated waste water returned to source.
Two principle benefits from the Wm Tracey solution:
- Typically the system dewaters sludge from the sedimentation tank into a dry cake mass of 15 – 25% dry matter, reducing tonnage related costs.
- Tanks are recharged with clean reject water ensuring systems are working at optimum efficiency and biological effectiveness.
A high pressure jetting pump is fitted to undertake related tasks such as gully cleaning or the splitting of oil contaminated silt in conjunction with polymer specific pre-treatments. Multi-tasking from a single unit will save on costs and reduce on site time. Capable of single day multi site operation, the payload tonnage will enable more competitive rates to be passed onto our customers.
